Mythbusters

1 Timothy 4:7 " Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives' tales; rather, train yourself to be godly." This year's version of Junior One at Camp Calvary will be one of scientific and spiritual investigation. Our campers will be charged to bust wide open some of the myths that the world has put forth as truth. Using God's Word, campers will expose the world's falsehoods and come to understand the real truth. We will look at four different myths and figure out what God has to say about them and how He wants us to act. The week will be filled with excitement at every turn. Each camper will receive their own Mythbuster kit and will learn how to use it. Come help us blow up the myths of the world and find the real truth that is God's Word. Bring your squirt guns, silly string and water balloons for a gigantic blow out on Sunday night. We'll also be heading to the pool in Springfield on Friday for a BIG party. Lots of fun awaits. This week may fill up fast so, please register early to assure you will have a spot. Come be a part!!

Capture The Flag

1 Corinthians 9:24 "Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize." In this week of camp, you will be racing in foot races, wheel barrel races, sack races, and obstacle races to qualify for the big race. Meanwhile, you will learn how to win at the biggest race of all. Come to this week of camp and find out all about the most important race of your life. From the checkered flag at the end of the race, to the green flag that begins the rest of your life, you won't want to miss this exciting week of camp! Attention Family and Friends of Campers: We will be having a closing program on July 11 at 1:30 p.m. This is a great opportunity to hear and see what your camper has been doing and learning during this week of camp.

May the Light be With You

Do you wake up in darkness and reach for the light? Grab a flashlight before you go outside at night? Sometimes it is hard to see through the darkness. We never have to be in darkness with God. Through games, lessons and activities, we will learn this week about the one true light--Jesus!  This week will be traveling offsite to Fox Creek Christian Church's Life Center in Lawrenceburg, KY.
